Northern Westchester Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct After Violent Outburst, Police Said

A Northern Westchester man was arrested for allegedly engaging in violent behavior and using obscene language while in public.

Yorktown Police arrested an area man for disorderly conduct after they say he acted violently and used obscene language in a public place.

Jan Kluk, 66, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 13, after Yorktown Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, said the Yorktown Police.

According to police, Kluk is alleged to have engaged in "violent, tumultuous and threatening behavior," while in a public place.

Kluk was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, police said. 

He was released on his own recognizance to a responsible party and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 3.
